Mavka is a spirit of Ukrainian folklore: a young woman of the forests and fields, usually pictured with flowers woven into her hair, who lives in harmony with nature. She is best known as the heroine of Lesya Ukrainka's 1911 play The Forest Song, one of the classics of Ukrainian literature. The rosé label draws her as a woman's profile framed by pink blossoms. The wine is a meio seco Vinho Verde from the DOC region in Portugal's northwest, light and fresh at 10 % alcohol.
