La storia
Carlos Alonso – Douro Wine Company was established in 1985 and works with both sides of the Douro: Port and still wine. Its Port range is led by Piano Porto, which includes a Late Bottled Vintage, a 10 Year Old Tawny and a 2018 Vintage Port, with Quintela Porto as a second Port brand.
On the still-wine side, Piano 17 is a Douro DOC Reserva red blending 60% Tinta Roriz, 30% Tinta Barroca and 10% Touriga Franca, aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.
