La storia
Valdo is a winery in Valdobbiadene, the small town in the province of Treviso that, together with Conegliano, forms the historic heart of Prosecco Superiore DOCG. Founded in 1926, it sold 18.6 million bottles in 2023, 15.2 million of them Prosecco DOC and DOCG, with a turnover of €81.2 million, 48% of it from exports to 57 countries.
The range spans Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Prosecco DOC, including Marca Oro and Etichetta Nera, as well as Garda DOC sparkling wines. Since the late 1990s Valdo has also worked with I Magredi, an estate in the Friuli DOC area with 53.5 hectares of vineyards, producing still wines under the Le Tenute Valdo name.
