Quick answers to the questions buyers ask most often.
1. What does PWSB do?
PWSB is a Portugal-based wine export company. We supply supermarket chains, importers and other buyers with retail-ready wines from Portugal and other wine countries, and we handle selection, labels, documents and shipping.
2. Can you build one private label range with wines from several countries?
Yes, this is our specialty. We can build one private label brand with wines from Portugal, Italy, Spain, Germany, South Africa, Chile and Argentina, and other countries on request. You get one contract, one point of contact and one shipment plan, instead of working with a separate producer in each country.
3. What is the minimum order for private label?
6,000 bottles per item. Fewer is possible, but the price per bottle goes up significantly.
4. How long does private label take?
About one month from approved label design to shipment, if your brand is already registered. A new EU trademark takes about six months.
5. Do you also have ready-made brands?
Yes. Our own brands, such as Mar e Praia, Bela Maria, Crocodile River and Kingsley, are ready for retail without designing a label. The minimum order is usually 3,000 bottles per wine (5 pallets).
6. Can I combine different wines in one shipment?
Yes, you can combine different wines in one container. Mixed pallets are usually not possible, but for some higher-priced wines we can discuss it.
7. Which formats can you supply?
250 ml, 375 ml, 750 ml and 1 litre. We also offer low-alcohol and alcohol-free wines.
8. Which markets do you export to?
Today we supply buyers in Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, the UAE, South Korea and Brazil, and we are open to other markets.
9. Do you adapt labels and documents to my market?
Yes. We adapt labels to each market's rules (language, importer details, back label and barcodes) and prepare the export documents. Standard certificates and lab analyses are included. Where a market requires excise stamps, we can apply them before shipment; the conditions depend on the type of stamp.
10. What are your delivery terms?
We sell EXW Portugal. If you need it, we can also arrange transport.
11. Can I get samples?
Yes, samples are free. Just ask.
