The story
Badalo Wines works across two of northern Portugal's best-known wine regions. Its Badoxa brand covers the Douro: DOC whites led by Rabigato, Viosinho and Gouveio, and rosé and red wines from Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, in Colheita, Reserva and Single Vineyard tiers. The Badoxa Port range includes Ruby, Tawny, White and Rosé Ports, each also available as a Reserve.
Under its second brand, Destalo, Badalo Wines produces Vinho Verde DOC in the Amarante sub-region, with labels that feature the region's increasingly endangered local wildlife.
