Cadão

Cadão is one of the oldest brands of Mateus & Sequeira Vinhos, a family company based in São João da Pesqueira, in the heart of the Douro. The brand takes its name from Quinta do Cadão, where the company has its headquarters, and it was from Cadão that the business was built. Mateus & Sequeira has grown from a small family business into a producer with 28 farms, and it is still family-run, with Pedro and Cláudia Mateus managing the wines.

The Cadão range includes Douro DOC red and white wines, with the red made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, a Reserva red, and Ports including Tawny, Ruby, White and a 10 Year Old Tawny. The company's other brands include Clama and Cabeça do Pote.
