Mar e Praia means "sea and beach", the two things most people picture when they think of Portugal. The name is a deliberate shorthand for the country's Atlantic coast, and the wine is built to match it: a light, fresh Vinho Verde from the DOC region in Portugal's northwest, meant to be drunk cold and young.
Tasting notes
Clear, defined pink colour. Red-berry fruit on the nose; smooth and refreshing in the mouth, with gentle, balanced acidity.
Winemaking
Full destemming, pneumatic pressing and fermentation at low temperatures.
Serving and storage
Serve at 9-12°C with fish, seafood and salads.
